Hi, moondog here,
This is fascinating.
Can you tell me more about what's going on with this?
The art is pure as spring water.
I want to know what your connection is with this, before I take a guess.
I have been thinking about you and your wonderful 'wax' creations.
I've been meaning to write you, but I feel like a simpleton, you are so sophisticated.
How's things, if I may ask. I am not feeling so good myself. BUT, I shall digress...later, friend, MD~

Hi Moondog

Good to hear from you, wondered what had been happening with you.

These are hard times for many people, I suspect.

In answer to your first question, Ihave been involved with this Remodernist group after I was invited to join it by Carson Collins, at Red Bubble.

I see it as a platform for people who might otherwise be disenfranchised as artsits by what remodernists have called the 'hegemony of post-modernism.'

Makes a change from poo machines, Breton's urinal and starving dogs, anyway.

Good day, Lynda,
I think of you too, and hope that all is well.
I have been navigating around some eye trouble, but I will not get into that now.
I am okay, a bit in a financial mess, but that is for another day, also.
Your note was interesting, and I know I have been receiving emails from Red Bubble.
I found the site of the Remodernist group you speak of.
As you know, I have taken a liking of your art, and your writing, as well.
I wish you the best of luck with this partaking, and the folks you work with seem to be living in reality, and not in the World of Oz.
My question to you is, (and I will cut to the chase.)
Do you feel that my art, and writing, could or may fit into your mindset, and realm of thinking?
I like what I see in the Remodernist ideaology, and I feel it is unique, and bears more research, on my part.
I am one that thinks about what the story is behind the stage curtain.
I mean, I like to feel the vibes of the activity as positive, and not dark, and full of intensity.
The art displayed is very colorful, and color is my way of expressing myself, as a dreamer of life on other planets, for example.
Please, if you get the time, peruse my gallery on dA, and tell me what you really see there. And read my literature, some are collabs, but I edit the finals.
Nice to hear from you again, and tell me more of what your group may need with an artist like me.
Best Regards, and :pride: in truth...moondog

Hi Moondog - and anyone, for example, who may be interested in this exhibition.

What matters with remoderrnism is not necessarily the style of your work, but ther intentions behind what you do.It is all about the fact that you have somthing you wish to communicate and the sense that your artisitc path has some kind of a spiritual intent - how you define 'spirituality' is up to you: I always felt of my work as some kind of a soul work.

Your work is intensely psychedelic and patternisitic, which is how my work started out, though the schools I went to criticised my work so much that I lost faith in that particular direction, by telling me it was 'decorative.'

However, there is no guarantee that a remodernist might not level the same charge as you!

So it comes down to'intentions' again.

I think you should contact Carson Collins, as he is the one who first invited me. The first exhibiton is a fair accompli now, but there may be future opportunities to take part.

So do check out the remodernist group on RB....

Hello, Lynda,
Sorry it took so long for me to respond.
I have been researching the info that you passed along to me a few days back.
Your note is so interesting.
I am contemplating a contact with Mr. Collins, and perhaps we can find some common ground.
Have you been to my dA site lately?
I need to visit yours more often.
I have been having trouble with my right eye, you may have heard.
But, I read, write, draw and paint until my eyes get tired.
In the process of moving, now, same state different location.
I will set up my studio again. So much work to move...
I will be in touch.
I love your wax features!!
MD~

Hi Moondog

I did drop by at your site, to look at your exciting psychedelic work.

My eyes tend to get tired sometimes, too.
Yep, do get in touch with MrCollins. What I am looking forward to is getting some good exhibs somewhere in the world in the flesh.
:iconmoondogprod1:
Thanks for the visit.
I am having eye trouble, too.
Drat.
"Looking forward to good exhibits in the flesh."
That's a nice quote.
I appreciate all info and chat with you, Lynda.
Back later.
I am in the process of moving, and life is chaos, you know? Best, MD~
